Shirley, Jane, and Victoria are thrilled to have secured the best job for a young woman in 1968… they’re Kittens at the Pussy Cat Cub! As they spend their nights wearing Kitten ears and a tight bodysuit, serving the most powerful men in New York City, the three Kittens believe they are chasing their dreams of acting, modeling, and saving for college in the most modern and empowering way possible. Their boss, Kitten Mother, reveals that Pussy Cat Enterprises will release a magazine with one lucky Kitten posing on the cover. However, the darker underbelly of the club begins to reveal itself and the girls have to grapple with what it means to be a Kitten.
Playwright, Composer, and Producer
Annika Hoseth is an LA-based musical theatre writer with a deep love for stories that hold space for life’s messiness while incorporating humor and leaving the audience with a sense of hope. She graduated from Pomona College in 2023 with a degree in music and a passion for collaborative creation. There, she wrote, composed, directed, and produced her first two full-length original musicals: You're the Sh*t and It Just Takes Time. Since graduating, she has immersed herself in the Los Angeles theatre scene: stage managing world premiere plays, interning at a record label, and workshopping her own musicals. In the past year, her musical, It Just Takes Time, had a staged reading with ELATE and was featured in a concert with the Foundation for New American Musicals.
Director and Choreographer
Rosie Corr is a passionate director, choreographer, and arts educator with an emphasis in artistry that centers consent, agency, and humanity. She has worked professionally as an Assistant Director both in NYC and regionally: collaborating with Warren Carlyle on HARMONY on Broadway, and with Marcia Milgrom Dodge on ON YOUR FEET (Riverside Theatre) and WAITRESS (Olney Theatre).
